Responsibilities

  • Build full-stack solutions using Java (J2EE), Spring Boot, and ReactJS to deliver scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.
  • Design microservices architectures and apply layered design patterns to address complex, real-world engineering challenges.
  • Follow coding standards, unit testing practices, and quality benchmarks to ensure reliable, maintainable, and resilient systems.
  • Demonstrate a problem-solving mindset with experience in performance optimization, observability, and resiliency within distributed systems.
  • Apply engineering best practices such as Design Patterns, CI/CD, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) while collaborating effectively in agile, cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration with business objectives.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and contribute to the organization’s technology communities.
  • Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
  • Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Experience building full-stack solutions using Java (J2EE), Spring Boot, and ReactJS.
  • Experience designing microservices architectures and applying layered design patterns.
  • Strong coding standards, unit testing practices, and quality benchmarks.
  • Problem-solving mindset with experience in performance optimization, observability, and resiliency in distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with engineering best practices such as Design Patterns, CI/CD, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Team-oriented mindset with ownership of end-to-end processes and excellent communication skills.
  • Adaptability and ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-performance engineering environment.
  • Understanding of Financial Crime systems and related technologies (valued but not required).

Pay

Base salary range: $120,000 – $175,000. This role is also eligible for an incentive award.
