Full stack Java Developer (contract)

About the role

Location: Charlotte, NC OR Irving, TX. Duration: 18 months. Work Engagement: W2. Work Schedule: 3 days in office / 2 days remote, with biweekly production releases requiring Monday or Tuesday nights for support.

Summary: In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and support of critical business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in modern Java development, React, cloud-native technologies, databases, and business process management platforms. This role requires participation in a fast-paced Agile environment with biweekly production releases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and React.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (position not eligible for visa sponsorship).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java.
• 5+ years of experience with SpringBoot.
• 5+ years of experience with React.
• 5+ years of experience with Python.
• Hands-on AI experience (GitHub / Co-Pilot).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spark (pipelines).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
