Full stack Java Developer
Overview
The Infosys Engineering unit focuses on delivering innovative engineering solutions through a data-first approach. They leverage advanced technologies like AI, ML, and predictive analytics to enhance value delivery and streamline processes.
Area of Responsibility
- Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting business requirements
- Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions
- Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications
- Maintain system stability and perform code reviews
- Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes
- Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks
- Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies
- Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities
Required Skill and Experience
- Hands-on experience with core Java and Angular JS
- AWS stack experience including understanding of services like S3, RDS/Postgres, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, Event Bridge, CloudWatch, IAM
- System design capability to design how inputs, APIs, calculation modules, database tables, validations, monitoring, retries, audit logs, and outputs fit together
Preferred Skill and Experience
- Experience in DevOps (GitLab/Terraform)
- Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.
Additional Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution
- Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project locations
- Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship
