Full-Stack Engineer (SF)

About the role

We are seeking talented software engineers to contribute to the development and scaling of a healthcare platform that simplifies shopping for various types of care. Our platform provides upfront pricing for virtual and in-person visits, prescriptions, labs, imaging, and more.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale a seamless and beautiful consumer healthcare product
• Deliver a delightful patient experience while tackling complex operational challenges
• Write product requirements documents and ensure feature performance through SQL
• Own Quality Assurance tasks, ensuring the highest standards of quality
• Collaborate with design, operations, and clinical stakeholders to navigate the ambiguous nature of healthcare systems
• Work in an environment where ambiguity is common and thrive in a fast-paced, agile setting

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building web applications as a full-stack engineer
• Proficiency in modern infra tools and programming languages, particularly AWS, Ruby on Rails, and NextJS
• A passion for technical excellence combined with the ability to move quickly and efficiently
• An eagerness to learn and adapt to the intricacies of the American healthcare system, including integration with EHRs and revenue cycle management

Pay

Base salary ranges from $150,000 to $225,000 annually, along with equity compensation.

Schedule

The position is based in either our San Francisco or Boston offices, with a minimum requirement of 3 days per week in the office, and ideally 4 or 5 days.
