About The Role
We are seeking experienced Staff Full-Stack Engineers to join our dynamic product teams—340B, Intake, and a new initiative focused on pharmacy operations. In this senior role, you will be responsible for developing and deploying end-to-end features that directly impact pharmacy teams' daily work. You will take ownership of complex problems from conception through deployment, making informed technical decisions independently. This role offers the opportunity to influence core workflows used by hundreds of health systems, ensuring scalable, reliable, and compliant solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers and pharmacy operations experts to understand real-world needs and embed AI thoughtfully into our platform. Your expertise will help shape the technical foundation for our evolving products, balancing speed with durability as we scale our platform to serve more clients.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience across the full technology stack
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Working proficiency in Python
- Experience building customer-facing products, not internal tools
- Comfort working across multiple layers of the stack
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting priorities
- Strong understanding of production-ready software in a compliance-critical, enterprise healthcare context
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with product, design, and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to be based in San Francisco (hybrid) or Chicago (remote)
- Bonus: Experience with Java or Ruby, healthcare or pharmacy domain knowledge, startup experience from early stages to scale
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and ship full-stack features end-to-end, including database, backend logic, and user interface components
- Collaborate with product managers and pharmacy operations experts to identify and prioritize real-world needs
- Take ownership of your code: design, build, test, deploy, and support in production environments
- Make strategic tradeoffs between speed and robustness to support platform scalability
- Contribute to the technical foundation of the platform, including integrating AI into workflows
- Use AI tools intentionally as part of your development process to enhance product capabilities
- Conduct code reviews, participate in design discussions, and help elevate the technical standards of the team
- Ensure solutions are compliant, reliable, and scalable to meet enterprise healthcare requirements
