Full-Stack Engineer - Forward-Deployed (Remote)

About the role

Minerva automates the painful parts of finance for traditional accounting firms we partner with and acquire. This is an early, high-ownership hybrid role on a small, fast team. You'll split your week between shipping full-stack features and working directly with accounting firms: observing their workflows, onboarding users, troubleshooting live, and owning the client relationship. If you prefer building close to the end-user over ticket-driven development, this role is a strong fit.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack development across our web app, internal tooling, and data pipelines
• Integrations with accounting and payroll systems (QuickBooks, ADP, etc.)
• AI/LLM features that perform real accounting tasks
• Dashboards and reporting that accountants rely on daily
• Act as the main technical point of contact for a set of accounting firms—onboarding teams, mapping workflows, and providing direct support

Requirements

• 2–4 years of full-stack development experience (our stack: React/Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Postgres)
• Good spoken and written English—you’ll be on regular calls with US-based accounting teams
• Comfortable working directly with non-technical accounting professionals—patient, clear, and skilled at translating messy real-world workflows into software
• Self-directed—able to make real progress without micromanagement
• Based in Latin America or India, with 4+ hours of daily overlap with US Pacific time

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to accounting, bookkeeping, or QuickBooks (not required but helps with ramp-up)
