About the role

Ekho's lightning-fast vehicle checkout platform has already generated tens of millions in revenue for over 20 leading vehicle brands that depend on our technology to power their online sales channel. We work with publicly traded brands generating billions in global GMV annually, fast-growing new entrants backed by hundreds of millions in funding, and a broad network of dealerships.

Responsibilities

• Ship high-quality code at lightning speed
• Build and own features across our entire vehicle sales platform, from buyer-facing checkout experiences to dealer management tools
• Architect and implement zero-to-one features that streamline complex vehicle purchasing workflows including financing, insurance, registration, and delivery coordination
• Show strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript development
• Show demonstrated experience with Node.js and Express.js backend development
• Show track record of shipping production-ready code at high velocity
• Show proven ability to build intuitive, user-focused interfaces
• Show experience integrating and optimizing third-party APIs
• Show strong communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders
• Show demonstrated success in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Own end-to-end feature development across our tech stack
• Design and implement core backend components and frontend interfaces
• Collaborate directly with clients and end-users to gather feedback
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues and bugs
• Contribute to architectural decisions that shape our platform
• Support team members and unblock customer issues
• Show experience in startup environments
• Show background in e-commerce or fintech
• Show experience with our tech stack (GCP, serverless architectures, Firebase, Cypress, Stripe, Retool, etc)
