About The Role

As a Full Stack Engineer at GrabJobs, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform. Your responsibilities will include owning end-to-end product development—from understanding initial requirements to deploying robust features that enhance user engagement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to translate business needs into technical solutions while maintaining a focus on performance, security, and scalability.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5+ years of comprehensive experience in full-stack development within startup environments or fast-paced tech companies.
• A strong foundation in both frontend and backend technologies, with proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development, and experience working with Node.js and NestJS for backend services.
• Familiarity with database management, particularly with PostgreSQL, and familiarity with Redis for caching solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for influencing product direction and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• An innate curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product requirements thoroughly to produce high-quality, production-ready code that delivers an exceptional user experience.
• Design, develop, and maintain new user-facing features, including database models, UI components, and backend services.
• Take full ownership of assigned projects, ensuring accountability for every stage from conception to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to create innovative solutions that enhance platform usability and performance.
• Build and optimize APIs and services to support current and future features of web applications.
• Maintain the stability and health of the codebase by refactoring, improving, and updating existing systems.
• Write clear, comprehensive specifications to facilitate smooth deployment processes and ensure code quality.
• Lead large-scale releases to production, ensuring continuous integration and deployment practices are followed diligently.
