Full Stack Development Lead – Asset Management Technology

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of full-stack applications that support investment and asset management business needs
  • Contribute directly to architecture and development efforts across UI, APIs, backend services, and data integrations
  • Build and enhance modern user interfaces using frameworks such as React or Angular
  • Develop secure, scalable APIs and ensure strong logging, monitoring, and operational support
  • Support AWS-based infrastructure and deployment processes, including services such as Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch
  • Own production readiness and application support, including reviewing changes before deployment
  • Partner with business, product, operations, and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Work with external vendors and strategic platforms to resolve issues and support integrations
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and direction to a distributed team
  • Drive automation, delivery efficiency, and continuous improvement across engineering practices

Requirements

  • 15+ years of software engineering experience
  • At least 5 years in a senior lead or hands-on leadership role
  • Strong full-stack development experience with JavaScript, React or Angular, and one or more backend technologies such as Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python
  • Solid SQL skills and experience working with data-driven applications
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native architecture
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or CloudFormation
  • Strong API development and system integration background
  • Experience with testing tools and practices such as Jest, Cypress, or Selenium
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery in a global, matrixed environment

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in asset management, investment banking, or wealth management
  • Familiarity with front-office platforms and workflows such as OMS, PMS, or risk systems
  • Exposure to ETF platforms and fund lifecycle processes
  • Experience with Snowflake, Python, or event-driven architecture
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting, ESG data pipelines, or performance attribution systems
  • Ability to balance hands-on coding with strategic leadership responsibilities
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and ownership mindset
