About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Full Stack Developer with expertise in .Net and Azure to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that address complex technical and business challenges. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop and test code, manage integrations, and proactively identify and mitigate risks. This position offers a hybrid work environment with the opportunity to work remotely, with in-person meetings once a quarter in Herndon, VA. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguous situations, enjoys working within Agile teams, and is eager to learn and grow professionally. This role is pivotal in delivering innovative solutions that support our federal clients' missions, requiring a combination of technical expertise, effective communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a TSA Public Trust clearance
  • Proficiency in .Net Framework and Azure cloud services
  • Experience with Web API development
  • Strong SQL skills, including experience with SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL pipelines
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks and practices
  • Knowledge of Agile SDLC methodologies, particularly Scrum
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (TFS) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Selenium, OKTA, and React (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Technical certifications related to Azure, SharePoint, or other relevant domains are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and lead meetings with customers and partners to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
  • Translate business strategies into technical solutions, defining constraints and requirements.
  • Support project planning by identifying risks, dependencies, and developing project documentation.
  • Communicate the value of solutions to stakeholders and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Implement mitigation strategies for technical and business risks.
  • Manage project schedules and communicate progress to project leads and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify issues and risks, engaging appropriate teams or clients to resolve them effectively.
  • Write, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable code for various applications and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive project and release planning, ensuring timely delivery of features.
  • Resolve complex system integration challenges, working across team boundaries to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve solutions.
