About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Full Stack Developer (Mid-Level) with expertise in React to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a software professional with 5-7 years of experience to contribute to the development of robust web-based applications. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to design, develop, and refine software solutions that meet project specifications and client needs. This role requires strong technical skills in React, Typescript, JavaScript, web services, and relational databases, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning. The position is based in Northern Virginia with options for remote work, and it requires the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust Level 5 Clearance, with U.S. Citizenship being mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development
• Proficiency in React/NextJS, Typescript, Electron, and JavaScript
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP or REST)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and MongoDB
• Experience with Sequelize ORM and JUnit testing frameworks
• Familiarity with development tools like Visual Studio Code, PGAdmin, and MongoDB Compass
• Basic understanding of version control systems, particularly Git
• Knowledge of RAD/Visual Studio and Windows Desktop OS
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn new technologies

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira
• Knowledge of design patterns like MVC or Façade
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, test, and debug software applications
• Translate project briefs and requirements into functional, scalable code
• Assist in gathering and refining technical requirements with stakeholders

• Write, maintain, and optimize reliable and scalable code across multiple tiers
• Contribute to the development of Java-based applications and web services
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects promptly to meet project deadlines
