Fully on-site position located in McLean, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Angular for front-end and Java/Spring for back-end
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in full stack development
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
Qualifications
- Front-End: Strong proficiency in Angular (TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3)
- Back-End: Extensive experience with Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data)
- Testing: Solid understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, Cypress)
- Database: Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
- API Development: RESTful API design and implementation
- Build Tools: Maven, Gradle, npm, webpack
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong team player with collaborative mindset, ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment, problem-solving aptitude and analytical thinking, self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Understanding of DevOps practices
Pay
$60 - 70 per hour
