About the Role

At Capgemini, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions that drive business value and enhance client experiences. You will contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of scalable, high-quality solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Java.
  • Write code to build complex core components and frameworks.
  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native solutions, including microservices and serverless paradigms using Spring Boot and Java.
  • Build responsive and modern frontend applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, and UI technologies.
  • Implement microservices, event-driven architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and API design (REST/GraphQL).
  • Implement generative AI APIs and leverage LLMs for business applications.
  • Develop and integrate APIs and web services.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other integrated teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Work with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Develop and integrate Python components for services, automation, or data processing.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Support application scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Work with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Stay current with modern development tools and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong experience with Java, API, and distributed applications development using Spring Boot and Microservices.
  • Strong frontend development experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of AI APIs like OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini etc., for implementing AI use cases.
  • Experience with asynchronous programming and multithreading concepts.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Pay

The base compensation range for this role in Atlanta, GA is $68,911 to $161,544. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The actual compensation offered may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, market considerations, and internal pay equity.
