Full-stack Developer (Frontend focused)

About the role

SoSACorp has an immediate need for an experienced full-stack developer who can solve problems with complete end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment. The location for this work is the Reston, VA area.

Responsibilities

• Leverage advanced skills to build a system from vision to production-ready.
• Learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates.
• Help customers overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches.
• Analyze the needs and environment to ensure the solution considers the current architecture, operating environment, and future functionality or enhancements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with software development.
• Experience with back-end development.
• Experience with J2EE Web Development and Spring Boot.
• Experience with frameworks, including Flask or Django.
• Experience with API development including REST architectural style.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Current DoD TS/SCI (in DISS).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing backend software.
• 2+ years of experience developing in a microservices architecture.
• Experience with JavaScript, Java Beans, JSP, JMS, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, CSS, DHTML, HTML, or XML.
• Experience with network security, including access and authorization for PKI and chain trusting.
• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, and GitLab.
• Ability to understand front-end users’ requirements.
• Ability to investigate root causes and provide corrective actions.
• DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification.
