Full Stack Developer

About the role

WRA is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Design Application group in our Baltimore office. The ideal candidate will support architectural and engineering professionals in the design and development of enterprise level applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise level applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework
• Develop design and code solutions using best practices and common patterns, including databases, component layers, user interfaces, and web services
• Document applications along with operation and maintenance procedures
• Manage mission critical or highly available platforms and applications
• Write and maintain clear, secure, and scalable code
• Unit/Integration testing techniques
• Experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript
• Experience with relational databases; SQL Server
• Experience with Agile process and working as part of a distributed team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• 5+ years of experience in developing data driven applications
• Experience in researching, planning, estimating, and designing applications to meet business needs, including customizations and integration components
• Experience in coding standards and best practices
• Possess a strong understanding of security and data protection implementation
• Ability to supervise, guide, and mentor junior staff, fostering professional growth and team development
• Ability to manage mission critical or highly available platforms and applications
• Experience with content management systems, cloud message APIs, Microsoft Azure, WCAG compliance, REST API design and development, web server administration, SharePoint development and maintenance, security fundamentals, role-based security, encryption keys and controls, web application wireframes, user experience (UX/UI) concepts, SPA frameworks – Angular, React, Vue, etc.
• Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, writing, and problem-solving skills, and be a team player
• Must be a US Citizen

Qualifications

• Self-directed and motivated to see and find efficient and cost-effective opportunities for change
• Working knowledge of using a distributed version control system within a team environment (i.e., Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps)

• Content management system experience
• Experience with cloud message APIs and usages of push notifications
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• WCAG compliance
• REST API design and development
• Web Server administration
• Understanding and experience with security fundamentals, role-based security, and familiarity using encryption keys and controls
• Experience creating web application wireframes and mockups
• Good understanding of user experience (UX/UI) concepts and their application in developing an appealing user interface
• SPA frameworks – Angular, React, Vue

Pay

The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. The expected annual compensation range for this position is $120,000.00 - $165,000.00.
