Full Stack Application Developer(.NET)

Our Fortune 500 client in Irving, TX is seeking a Full Stack Application Developer (.NET) for a hybrid role.

About the Role

This is a 10+ month contract with high possibilities of extension. You will join the Application Developer team for the 'SDC13 Application Maintenance' project at VISTRA CORP, a leading company known for innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end architecture for enterprise web and mobile applications using .NET Core, React Native, and Next.js, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Design and implement AI-enabled solutions, including Generative AI, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics.
• Establish architecture standards, development frameworks, and best practices for cloud-native, microservices-based, and API-driven applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and technology roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the application lifecycle, including solution design, code reviews, performance optimization, testing strategy, deployment, and production support.
• Drive innovation and modernization initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies and defining integration strategies.
• Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
• Perform independently and become a subject matter expert (SME).
• Actively participate and contribute in team discussions, providing solutions to work-related problems.
• Develop and implement innovative application solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure application functionality.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Expertise in full stack development with Next.js or related JavaScript framework and ASP.NET Core REST API.
• Experience in MS SQL Server development and writing SQL queries, including integration with .NET.
• Knowledge and understanding of CI/CD process using Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in microservices design and development.
• Experience developing systems with best practices in cross-cutting application areas.
• Advanced skills in .NET Core (P3 - Advanced).
• Must-have skills: React Native, .NET Core, AI.
