About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance full stack applications using modern frameworks and tools
  • Ensure maintainability, scalability, and performance of applications
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, constructive feedback, and improving coding standards and documentation
  • Leverage Agile best practices including Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Test Driven Development (TDD), and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)
  • Implement and maintain APIs and integrations between business systems, ensuring reliability and security
  • Perform sing and troubleshooting to validate solutions, maintain high-quality code, and ensure seamless deployment
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative ways to improve development workflows
  • Mentor junior team members, model best practices, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience developing software applications across front-end and back-end technologies
  • Proven experience working in Agile development environments, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
  • Strong ability to analyze complex problems and communicate solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

  • Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times
  • Valid Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel to Canada
