Full Scope X-Ray Technologist

Job Summary

The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Full Scope X-Ray Technologist. The preferred schedule is a consistent part-time rotation based on department needs. The listed wage is for the entry-level rate.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications

• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license (Full Scope)
• Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification from an approved provider
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Knowledge of Radiologic Health Branch compliance regulations
• Experience with digital radiography and EHR/PACS systems
• Ability to perform all essential job functions

Essential Job Duties

• Perform a comprehensive range of diagnostic radiographic procedures, including chest, extremities, spine, sinus, and abdominal imaging
• Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure accurate imagining and a positive patient experience
• Operate digital radiography equipment and ensure proper image acquisition and quality
• Upload, label, and route imaging orders prior to procedures in accordance with patient safety standards
• Evaluate images for quality, positioning, and completeness; repeat studies as necessary
• Communicate effectively with providers regarding imagining workflow, urgent findings, or technical limitations
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation within the EHR
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imagining environment in compliance with infection control standards
• Adhere to all applicable Federal, State, and Tribal Health policies, including HIPAA, OSHA, and radiologic health regulations
