About the role

LearnWell is seeking three passionate and creative teachers to join our growing team in Westchester County. This unique position involves working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to K-12 school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment. Most class sizes range from 8 to 15 patients at any one time.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
• Provide individualized assistance to students
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports

Locations

• Westchester Float Teacher: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–8:00 PM | Mileage reimbursement and full benefits. Tutoring students ages 5–18.
• Valhalla, NY: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM | Full benefits. Tutoring students ages 12–17.
• Briarcliff, NY: Part-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM | Full benefits. Tutoring students ages 12–18.

Qualifications

• B.A/B.S degree from an accredited institution
• New York State Teaching Certification
• Comfortable working within a pediatric and adolescent population
• Reliable Transportation
