Full or Part Time Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and creative part-time teacher to join our team in Hoboken, NJ for the school year. This unique position involves working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
• Provide individualized assistance to students
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports

Requirements

• B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• New Jersey Standard teaching license
• Comfortable working with K-12 students
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
• Reliable transportation

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–12:30 PM (40-hour weekly commitment).
