SMX is seeking an FMV Analyst Journeyman to support 24/7 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations conducting Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) missions for Special Operations Forces (SOF). This position provides intelligence analysis and fusion PED support, working a modified Panama schedule to support OCONUS operations. You will deliver vital insights using the "Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze and Disseminate (F3EAD)" targeting methodology, involving comprehensive regional and point analysis with cutting-edge geospatial techniques. This role requires an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance, which necessitates US citizenship.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis remotely from CONUS PED locations.
- Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Perform near real-time observation, analysis, exploitation, and reporting of GEOINT data in accordance with DNI ICD 203 and SOCOM Joint PED standards.
- Develop concepts of operations for processing and analytical initiatives.
- Deliver quality outputs for Screener, Reviewer, and production functions.
- Perform peer-to-peer Quality Assurance reviews of all outputs and deliverables prior to submittal.
- Understand ISR collection techniques, sensor and platform capabilities, and best practices for multi-INT product creation.
- Engage and communicate effectively with intelligence and operational partners to drive change.
- Fuse new intelligence disciplines into assessments using historical FMV data, optical/non-optical images, satellite imagery, radar, or other intelligence information.
- Attend meetings, video teleconferences, working groups, and technical exchanges related to mission/taskings and emerging capabilities.
- Draft presentations and supporting documentation as needed.
- Coordinate and interact with analysts from service, component, DoD, and national-level intelligence agencies.
- Gather, interpret, and compare data to produce reports and establish conclusions.
- Research, develop, and present all-source intelligence products at the operational level to senior leaders, including CT and regional analysis, GEOINT, HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT/PAI, and political/military analysis.
- Interface with other intelligence organizations to prepare teams for exploitation of enemy personnel and produce post-screening analytical products supporting targeting efforts and threat analysis.
- Manage the production of intelligence assessments and products in support of deployed SOF to enable the F3EAD targeting cycle.
Requirements
- Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance (US citizenship required).
- BS degree in a related field or a minimum of four years of hands-on IMINT and/or FMV analysis and production experience within the last six years.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with operational and tactical-level intelligence, including targeting, intelligence systems, and geospatial systems.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Understanding of ISR collection techniques, sensor and platform capabilities, and best practices for multi-INT product creation.
- Deployed experience supporting SOF units in forward-deployed locations (desired).
- Experience providing direct analytical and targeting support to deployed SOF elements in Counter Violent Extremist Organization and Counter Terrorism operations.
- Proficiency with intelligence tools and Motion Imagery PED Software such as SOCETGXP, In Motion, Microsoft Office, Google Earth, AIDE, DCGS-A, MIRC, PIDGIN, GETS, AIMES, NGDS, GSR, CEDALION, and UVDS.
Pay
The proposed salary for this position is $73,000 USD - $88,000 USD.
