At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. What will you be doing?

  • Convert physicians/accounts by making sales calls and providing on-call clinical case coverage in the operating room.
  • Train surgeons on Smith+Nephew products through education/programs in your territory.
  • Work collaboratively with key podiatry and orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, OR staff, Sterile Processing Department (SPD), administration, clinicians, and researchers.
  • Work cross-divisionally to increase awareness and adoption across divisions.
  • Manage a 24/7 call rotation within the team.

What will you need to be successful?

  • The foundation of your success relies on your technical expertise in the Extremities Orthopedics portfolio.
  • Your ability to build positive relationships with surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and hospital administration enhances access to customers to provide data-driven, trusted solutions.
  • You will develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed your quota.
  • Self-motivated salespeople who are committed to driving the business forward by taking strategic responsibility for your area 24/7, working with your customers to deliver the best solutions for our patients!
  • Results-driven champions who are passionate about forming relationships to increase sales revenue within the territory and impact patient outcomes!
  • Resourceful consultants who will work relentlessly to become proficient in Extremities Orthopaedics.
  • Our salespeople provide first-class technical support to ensure that product availability meets customer and patient needs.
  • Collaborative and dedicated teammates committed to partnering with all Smith+Nephew Extremities, Reconstruction and Sports Medicine counterparts in the region to discover sales opportunities.

What will you need?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum (4) four years sales experience in medical device industry, specifically selling orthopedic products or as an EMS/Paramedic
  • Preferred experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic products or as an EMT/Paramedic
  • Proven track record selling/converting business at the surgeon or hospital level
  • Experience leading/mentoring team members and new sales representatives

Travel Requirements

  • Within designated sales territory with 2-4 overnights a month.
  • Infrequent national travel for events and conferences.

Pay

The anticipated commissions range for this position is $80,000,000 - $100,000 USD annually.

Commissions only.
