Full Charge Bookkeeper (Non-Profit)

Full Charge Bookkeeper

Manage full-cycle accounts payable, expense reports, check runs, and vendor payments across multiple cost centers.
Prepare invoices, process billing, maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and complete monthly account reconciliations and month-end close.
Process semi-monthly payroll and support payroll-related activities while maintaining accurate financial records.
Record and track donations, deposits, and financial transactions using accounting and donor management systems.
Support financial reporting, maintain organized accounting records, and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent accounting experience will also be considered.
• Experience with full-charge bookkeeping, including accounts payable, general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop; experience with payroll systems and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus, but candidates with strong accounting backgrounds in other industries are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow.

Pay & Schedule

$32-$38/hr. (DOE)
