Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete bookkeeping process, ensuring financial records are accurate, current, and properly maintained.
- Process vendor invoices and payments while keeping accounts payable transactions organized and on schedule.
- Monitor incoming payments, apply receipts, and follow up on outstanding balances to support effective accounts receivable management.
- Reconcile bank accounts regularly to verify transaction accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain the general ledger and support routine financial reporting by recording transactions with attention to detail.
- Review accounting documentation for completeness and consistency, helping to preserve reliable financial data.
- Use QuickBooks to enter, track, and manage daily accounting activity across multiple bookkeeping functions.
Requirements
- Prior experience performing full charge bookkeeping responsibilities.
- Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks in an accounting or bookkeeping environment.
- Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience completing bank reconciliations accurately and consistently.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks independently and meet deadlines.
- Solid understanding of standard bookkeeping practices and financial recordkeeping.
