Responsibilities
- Oversee the full bookkeeping cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records to ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support payroll administration and related accounting tasks using ADP and other financial systems as needed.
- Monitor cash position, track incoming and outgoing funds, and provide regular cash flow insights to leadership.
- Aid in the development, maintenance, and review of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Generate financial reports and account analyses to help management evaluate performance and plan effectively.
- Maintain data integrity across computerized accounting platforms, including Great Plains, and help resolve system-related discrepancies.
- Cook up with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather documentation, answer accounting questions, and support audits or reviews.
Requirements
- Possess proven experience working as a Full Charge Bookkeeper with responsibility for end-to-end accounting functions.
- Show hands-on knowledge of computerized accounting systems and the ability to work efficiently within financial software platforms.
- Show experience using ADP for payroll-related or accounting support processes.
- Show familiarity with Great Plains or similar enterprise accounting software.
- Show ability to prepare budgets, review spending trends, and contribute to annual financial planning.
- Show strong understanding of cash flow analysis and day-to-day financial monitoring.
- Show high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in financial recordkeeping.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred but not required.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in computerized accounting systems.
