Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial records are accurate, current, and properly organized.
  • Process vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner while maintaining strong control over accounts payable activity.
  • Manage customer invoicing, track incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances to support accounts receivable operations.
  • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and maintain reliable financial reporting.
  • Administer payroll activities with attention to deadlines, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures.
  • Prepare billing documentation, including contract-based and progressive invoicing, to support ongoing projects and client accounts.
  • Generate routine financial and operational reports from QuickBooks and related records for management review.
  • Maintain accounting data within the QuickBooks Contractor edition and support updates to financial records as needed.
  • Hands-on experience performing full charge bookkeeping across multiple accounting functions.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, including work within the Contractor edition.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing practices.
  • Experience completing bank reconciliations and resolving account variances accurately.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing and maintaining precise supporting documentation.
  • Able to prepare clear financial reports and manage detailed records with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
