Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Aid with all Physical Inventories.
  • Responsible for organization of all return packages, including logging and reshipment.
  • Responsible for order requests received through the Central Fill work requests and email and associated deadlines.
  • Assist with supplier product recalls and their timely return to vendor; maintain appropriate documentation from initial notification through product return.
  • Assist with inventory audits to eliminate expired drugs in inventory, including documentation for reverse distributors.
  • Stock medications according to FEFO inventory system.
  • Provide support to the Inventory Department.
  • Assist with general clerical duties and filing.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician preferred.
  • Previous inventory experience preferred.
  • Pervious pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously.
  • Focused team player, who can work in conjunction with pharmacists, other departments, customers, and management.
  • Ability to perform repetitious work accurately.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

  • This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer.
  • Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment.
  • May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers/clients.
  • Some travel may be required.
