Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Aid with all Physical Inventories.
- Responsible for organization of all return packages, including logging and reshipment.
- Responsible for order requests received through the Central Fill work requests and email and associated deadlines.
- Assist with supplier product recalls and their timely return to vendor; maintain appropriate documentation from initial notification through product return.
- Assist with inventory audits to eliminate expired drugs in inventory, including documentation for reverse distributors.
- Stock medications according to FEFO inventory system.
- Provide support to the Inventory Department.
- Assist with general clerical duties and filing.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician preferred.
- Previous inventory experience preferred.
- Pervious pharmacy experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.
- Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously.
- Focused team player, who can work in conjunction with pharmacists, other departments, customers, and management.
- Ability to perform repetitious work accurately.
Work Environment / Physical Demands
- This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer.
- Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment.
- May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers/clients.
- Some travel may be required.
