Fulfillment Specialist

About the role

This position is located within the packaging department and reports to the Packaging Supervisor. The Fulfilment Specialist will manipulate product from packaging bins to a customer-ready state.

Responsibilities

• Receive packaging assignments from the packaging coordinator for each item packed throughout the shift.
• Understand and perform Finished Goods Functions (FGPS), including production order completion and scanning capabilities for packers.
• Monitor and record production output daily, maintaining productivity levels as required by production standards.
• Promote safe work behavior and strong housekeeping habits within the packaging department and throughout the NIBCO Greensboro facility.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• No prior experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Skills

• Reading and math competencies.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Organization and detail orientation.

Physical Demands / Environmental Factors

• Subject to standing for extended periods of time.
• Repetitive hand movements, lifting, and placing of boxes varying in weight up to 37 lbs.
• Exposure to temperature extremes of up to 110 degrees in peak summer months.
