About the Role
The Fulfillment & Logistics Technician supports the department lead by ensuring accurate inventory tracking and efficient fulfillment of outgoing orders to meet cannabis supply agreements. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining stock levels, preparing deliveries, and executing inventory tasks while adhering to internal protocols and NJ regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with routine audits.
- Pull products from adequate inventory levels to fulfill orders and prevent overstock.
- Support the receiving process by inspecting and verifying deliveries for accuracy and quality, ensuring products meet company standards.
- Restock the fulfillment center and vault room to maintain product availability.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation, packing, and shipment of customer orders.
- Work closely with production and sales teams to align fulfillment efforts with customer demand.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of transport manifests for deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Ensure all inventory, fulfillment, and delivery operations comply with state cannabis regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and help generate necessary compliance reports.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and other departments to align fulfillment and logistics efforts with company goals.
- Provide updates to management on inventory and fulfillment performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- 1–3 years in fulfillment, logistics, or inventory management, preferably in a regulated industry like cannabis or CPG.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., Metrc).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry while maintaining compliance.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing tasks like bending, squatting, and reaching.
- Compliance with all state regulations, including obtaining necessary cannabis handler permissions.
