About the role

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will conduct regular physical inventory audits to ensure precise inventory counts that align with customer requirements and operational needs.

Schedule

Shift: Tues–Sat, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Pay

Starting at $21.50/hour + shift premium:

  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM: + $1.50/hour
  • 11:00 PM – 5:00 AM: + $2.00/hour

Weekly payday on every Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily physical inventory count assignments using an RF scanner and material handling equipment (MHE), including an order picker raised up to 40 feet
  • Assist in researching and resolving inventory discrepancies in WMS software
  • Perform internal audits to verify part numbers, quantity, or process effectiveness
  • Participate in special inventory scenarios or projects, including physical part moves using MHE equipment
  • Follow up on quality alerts or notifications and handle processing, packaging, and completion of action items
  • Adhere to all safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
  • Maintain a secure and clean work area
  • Fulfill other assigned duties

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Weight limit of 300 pounds to safely operate the order picker and comply with equipment manufacturer specifications and safety regulations
  • Some inventory control experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience and knowledge using Microsoft programs including Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Solutions mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience or willingness to learn how to operate MHE equipment
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, such as seasonal heat or cold, and staying in a stationary position for long shifts
  • Strength to perform physical tasks involving repetitive moving or raising of objects weighing up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Punctuality and consistent attendance
  • Positive attitude with a focus on exceptional service
