About the Appointment
The Fulbright Commission is pleased to congratulate Dr. Virgil Iordache on his appointment to the Professional Ethics Committee of the Ecological Society of America (ESA).
Background and Experience
Dr. Iordache is a Fulbright Visiting Scholar (2024-2025, City University of New York) and was mentored by Dr. Peter Groffman, who currently serves as President of the Ecological Society of America.
Role and Responsibilities
In his new role, Dr. Iordache will contribute to promoting high professional and ethical standards within the scientific community, drawing on both his Fulbright experience and his previous service on Romania’s National Council for Ethics in Research and Development.
