Fuels Distribution System Operator (Transition)-4

Duties/Responsibilities

• Dispensing aviation and ground fuel as directed by resource control center to tank trucks and transferring fuel to operational tanks.
• Issues and receives cryogenics.
• Complies with all technical and safety procedures related to fuel and cryogenic handling operations.
• Accomplishes applicable forms to accurately document fuel and cryogenic products received and dispensed, closes out paperwork (night shift).
• Maintains monitoring fueling and cryogenic equipment for abnormal conditions during servicing operations.
• Documents discrepancies on applicable inspection forms and reports them to supervisor.
• Performs daily corrosion control on fuel and cryogenic system.
• Assists in training newly assigned personnel.
• Ensures compliance with environmental, occupational safety, and security programs.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years prior experience in a fuels aviation field.
• Ability to work for extended periods in the local outdoor environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, co-workers, and customers.

Other Essential Requirements

• The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• The ability to read and interpret general and governmental instructions/regulations.
• A valid Mississippi Driver’s License.
• United States citizenship and ability to possess and maintain a current and valid class B driver’s license for job locality, with HAZMAT and tanker endorsements.
• Secret Security Clearance.
• The ability to pass a background investigation and a pre-employment drug test.
