Fueler / Cleaner - VVTA - Barstow

Key Accountabilities

• All vehicles completely fueled and ready for service.
• Vehicles exteriors and interiors cleaned according to the contract.
• Vehicle emergency equipment fully stocked and functional.
• Fleet damage documented and communicated to the manager.
• Work area maintained according to all OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Shop area cleaned, mopped, and trash disposed of daily.
• Facility cleaning as needed to include trash, windows, restrooms, and vacuuming.
• Post notices in vehicles as required by client.
• Ensure all vehicles contain system brochures.
• Absorb and assist maintenance staff and manager as needed.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Long periods (potentially exceeding 8 hours per day) of walking, standing, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, lifting, balancing, stooping, twisting, squatting, handling materials, repetitive hand-wrist motions, and traversing uneven surfaces.
• Exposure to both extreme heat and cold.
• Exposure to loud noises, fumes, and airborne particles.
