Fuel Truck Driver (CDL)
Cash Construction, a MasTec company, is hiring CDL Fuel Truck Drivers for their site in Pflugerville, TX. An active CDL A with Hazmat (H) endorsement is required.
About the role
Fuel Truck Driver transports fuel to and from various job locations safely and without incidents. Cash Construction, established in the 1970s, is a leading Civil and Infrastructure Construction company, completing projects such as water and wastewater utilities, drainage improvements, lift stations, pump stations, dry utilities, roadwork, and wind and solar farms. MasTec’s CE&I group provides construction services for industrial facilities, building products manufacturers, power generation facilities, manufacturing plants, solar, wind, and thermal energy plants, buildings, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Transport fuel to various job locations.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance, record and inspect vehicles including fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspections, checking or changing fluids as needed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Aid maintenance with minor repairs as needed.
- Familiarize with the area, read maps, and follow directions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat (H) endorsement and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Typically 3+ years of driving CDL trucks experience.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
- Understanding of DOT Hours of Service (HOS) rules, ELD compliance, air brake systems, and heavy equipment operation.
