Responsibilities
- Own a territory, build real relationships face to face, and drive growth across our full portfolio for both existing and new customers.
- Generate unbranded fuel sales results, align supply with demand, and become a trusted partner to the customers and prospects in your market.
- Prospect and Sales Plan: Organize your daily schedule around a structured go to market strategy.
- Deliver formal and informal sales presentations that win business.
- Build and execute a sales strategy across LTL, FTL, and DEF that drives results.
- Manage a CRM pipeline with daily contact, detailed prospect status, and clear next steps.
- Set daily customer pricing by terminal and product based on available supply, updated on the Mansfield pricing system.
- Submit proposals that reflect our internal service and performance standards.
- Use PowerBI weekly to track customer trends and get ahead of attrition.
- Track the competitive landscape: pricing, products, marketing, and market moves.
- Build new relationships and deepen existing ones, including with corporate level executives.
- Communicate with customers consistently and with purpose.
- Convert leads into lasting business relationships.
- Navigate relationship challenges (credit issues, payment problems, supply outages) while protecting both the relationship and Mansfield's standards.
- Maintain account and marketing plans that keep opportunities visible and moving.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business preferred, or equivalent experience.
- One to two years of face-to-face sales experience required.
- Fuel, DEF, or lubrication industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- CRM experience required (Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar).
- Strong presentation and formal proposal skills.
- Self-starter with urgency, polish, and people skills.
- Organized, goal-driven, and detail-oriented.
- Strong multi-tasking, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
- A genuine desire to win and the teamwork to back it up.
