Fuel Injector - Cnc Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to run parts as defined by the planning documents.
• Operate machines to safely produce component parts to production and quality targets.
• Perform in-process inspections.
• Make machine adjustments as necessary to maintain product conformance.
• Track quality using various run charts.
• Segregate non-conforming product.
• Acquire consumables from plant stores.
• Perform changeovers to machines as necessary.
• Perform tooling changes and touch offs.
• Communicate to Process or Cell Technician and Leadership as necessary.
• Escalate quality issues as necessary.
• Perform work by SOPs and safety rules.
• Maintain housekeeping including mopping floor and emptying chips.
• Change machine fluids as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience with manual or Computer Numerically Controlled Horizontal Lathes (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience with gauging and blueprint reading.

Ergonomic Focus

• Working machine station.
• Making adjustments to switches and dials.
• Using various measuring devices.
• Lifting up to 20 lbs. frequently.
• Standing/walking/sitting during a 10-hour work shift.

Hours

Primary work hours are between 6:00 pm – 6:00 am Friday - Sunday. Over time as needed.
