FT Warehouse Associate 3rd shift fresh

About the Role

As a Warehouse Associate at ADUSA Distribution, you will perform distribution center shipping and receiving functions, playing an essential role in moving product accurately and safely throughout the facility. ADUSA Distribution is the distribution arm of Ahold Delhaize USA, supporting the supply chain network for leading omnichannel grocery brands including Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford, and Stop & Shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by a supervisor or designee.
• Complete all related documentation for shipping and receiving tasks.
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food, and dairy orders accurately for shipment to retail stores.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operational checks of equipment according to company policy.
• Maintain good sanitation practices; keep work areas clean and free of debris.
• Recommend process or procedure modifications to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Certification on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
• Ability to use a personal computer for data entry and research.
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Familiarity or experience in a distribution environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 80 lbs repetitively.
• Ability to meet company production standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers.
• Flexibility to work the required schedule to perform assigned duties.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (e.g., cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks).
