About the Role

Hannaford Supermarkets, rooted in Maine since 1883, is committed to local sourcing and sustainability. We're seeking a team member to join our retail operations, focusing on center store tasks and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Cut, mark, and stock cases as outlined in the Center Store training guide.
• Unload trucks, receive incoming merchandise, and verify/report discrepancies.
• Greet and assist customers with finding items in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Maintain productivity levels at or above company standards.
• Work with little to no supervision at times.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Availability to work overnight or early morning shifts.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 20 lbs. regularly, including overhead lifting, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Push/pull up to 40 lbs. regularly.
• Stand or walk 100% of the time.
• Frequent reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
• Tolerate extreme hot/cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.
• Ability to use computers, calculators, and communication systems.

Pay

Salary range is between $15.90 - $21.60 per hour.
