FT Security Site Supervisor - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - $28.58/hour

About the role

EXPERIENCED SECURITY SITE SUPERVISOR NEEDED. THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE NECESSARY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE:

Responsibilities

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s)
• Affirms that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed
• Notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate
• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel
• Affirms adequate coverage of all posts and positions
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities
• Makes contact with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 consecutive, verifiable years in a security supervisor role
• Current, valid NYS Security Guard Card
• Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to address client and/or site concerns in a Professional manner
• Experience with protocols/procedures associated with Fire Panels
• Comfortable with computers and learning new systems associated with client site
• Ability to train, teach, lead team members and hold them to high standards as well as hold them accountable when/if necessary
• Counselling and Corrective action experience preferred
• Experience with Payroll, call offs, minimizing/eliminating overtime
