(includes commissions and incentives) depending on experience and skills. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service by seeking out and engaging with customers, going through the steps of the sale to determine their needs, recommending appropriate products, and promoting the Scheels Visa Credit CardMaintain expert-level knowledge in all selling areas, as well as lead product knowledge training for other associatesConsistently meet or exceed personal sales goals while delivering a high-quality customer experienceManage inventory by running and analyzing Internal Flash ReportsEffectively maintain an organized backstock while ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and replenished on the sales floorEnsures their product is accurately displayed to customers through price tagging, sales stickers, and signageMaintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented atmosphereCommunicate professionally with other associates within the store, the Scheels Campus, and Vendors/Sales RepresentativesEnsures their work area is clean, organized, and meets safety standardsAbility to perform basic math; perform operations using units of currency, measurements, and understand percentagesAbility to work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Including product knowledge meetings Education & Experience The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates.
