FT PM Medication Technician

About the role

The Medication Technician position at MBK Senior Living is dedicated to providing compassionate, quality resident care and services. This role focuses on assisting residents with medication administration and daily activities, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with their daily medications and resident care as assigned.
• Notify Supervisor if prescribed medication is not administered correctly and document the reason.
• Maintain accurate records on resident medication and care, and track medication orders.
• Assist caregivers in their duties and document incident reports.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and resident requests.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards and policies.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Health Services or Executive Director.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Certification or education as required by state regulations.
• Valid CPR & First Aid certification.
• 1+ years of prior related work experience in a healthcare role.
• Experience handling medications preferred.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or over.
• Completed background, health screening, and negative TB test results within 7 days of employment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with technology for documentation.
• Ability to make sound decisions and manage stressful situations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 250 pounds.
• Positive and professional demeanor.

Pay

$14.50 - $17.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, every other weekend (2:15 PM - 10:15 PM).
