Medication Technician - PT PM

About the role

The Medication Technician position at MBK Senior Living is designed for those who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. This role involves providing compassionate care, managing medications, and assisting with daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with their daily medications and care as per their service plans.
• Notify supervisors if medications are not administered correctly and document the reasons.
• Maintain accurate records and track medication orders.
• Assist caregivers and document incidents and resident changes.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with resident needs.
• Maintain a safe environment and comply with safety standards.
• Manage resident behaviors and ensure a positive environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Certified or educated in accordance with state regulations.
• Valid CPR & First Aid certification.
• 1+ years of related work experience in a healthcare role.
• Experience handling medications preferred.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 250 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Comfortable with technology for documentation.
• Ability to make sound decisions and handle stressful situations.
• Positive and professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Pay

$19.00/hour for part-time positions from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Wednesday to Sunday.
