Join our Tim Hortons team at 20 E Main St in Batavia, NY as a full-time Overnight Bakery Team Member (11pm-7am). Your top priority is guest satisfaction, whether you're the first person guests encounter or preparing quality food items they love.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and create exceptional guest experiences through baking food products and outstanding customer service.
• Process food orders, clean and re-stock multiple areas of the restaurant, and prepare food and beverage orders.
• Ensure bakery products are always fresh and accurate, following company procedures and shelf-life standards.
• Maintain an appealing showcase with a variety of high-quality products for guests.
• Enhance guest and employee experience through friendly and attentive behavior, following the S.E.T. Principles: Smile, Eye Contact, Thank You.
• Ensure accuracy in every order and prepare products to meet quality standards.
• Support speed of service targets by working efficiently to fill orders and meet guests' needs.
• Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, taking responsibility for service recovery.
• Follow operational standards for product preparation and equipment operation.
• Monitor inventory of bakery products in the fridge and freezer, preparing products as needed.
• Prepare products in appropriate quantities to minimize waste and record prepared items and waste on the production sheet.
• Respond to showcase and product needs communicated by the Restaurant Front.
• Assist in serving guests in the Restaurant Front when necessary.
• Monitor and record temperatures of required products, fridges, and freezers.
• Adhere to all restaurant policies, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen to ensure readiness for rush periods.
• Work in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation.
• Follow safe work practices and use personal protective equipment as required.
• Report injuries, accidents, unsafe conditions, or contraventions of health and safety regulations.
• Operate equipment and machinery safely.

Physical Demands and Working Environment

The role is performed in a busy quick-service restaurant with frequent communication with customers and other employees. You must be able to prepare food and beverage items and work with or train other employees.

• Stand for prolonged periods of time; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
• Lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (5–50 lbs).
• Operate cash register and electronic devices with repetitive hand movements and fine coordination.
• Frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures (walk-in freezers/coolers) and high heat (ovens).
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction; ability to use and wear a headset if needed.
• Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
