About the role
IVX Health is seeking a Full-Time (FT) Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality, specialized infusion therapy in an outpatient setting. The position involves direct patient care, conducting assessments, educating patients, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision.
- Conduct patient assessments and document SOAP notes.
- Educate and support patients through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Optimize clinical workflows by assisting with chart preparation and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including referring providers and cross-functional teams, to enhance care coordination.
- Support operations and training by assisting with inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted licenses: Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by the state).
- Board Certification: AANP or ANCC certification required.
- Life Support Certifications: BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
- Clinical Experience: Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.
- Ability to Treat a Diverse Patient Population: Must be able to care for both adults and pediatrics—Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred.
- Strong IV and Infusion Therapy Skills: Experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
- Proficiency in Clinical Documentation: Experience with EHR systems and a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional Communication & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in infusion therapy or related field.
