About the role

The Night Auditor oversees the day-to-day night operations of the property, including front desk operations, financial reconciliation, and reporting. This role ensures a safe and secure environment for guests and team members while addressing guest issues and maintaining clear communication across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee nightly property operations, including front desk and financial reconciliation.
  • Ensure confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment; report security concerns immediately.
  • Resolve guest issues and concerns as they arise.
  • Communicate updates, changes, or issues to all departments.
  • Conduct routine property walks to monitor guest safety and security.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of hospitality experience; 2 years of hotel/clerk experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to secure the property by patrolling halls and ensuring doors are locked.
  • Strong customer relations skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
