About the role

The FT Marketing and Communications Director oversees all marketing and communications efforts across the Marketing and Communications Division. This includes developing and implementing strategies to enhance brand awareness, manage media relations, and produce high-quality content for various channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to support business objectives.
  • Manage media relations, including press releases, media interviews, and crisis management.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of internal and external communications materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with overall company goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage a team of marketing and communications professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing and communications, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of successful campaign execution and results-driven approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in public speaking.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of SEO, social media marketing, and content marketing.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana or Trello.
  • Understanding of data analytics and its application in marketing strategy.
