About the role

B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group is seeking a Room Attendant for the Courtyard by Marriott Tysons McLean. The position is responsible for cleaning guestrooms to the company’s quality standards, providing friendly and professional service, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cleanliness: Complete all laundry procedures (sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, inspect, transport, organize hotel linens); operate, clean and maintain equipment; safely use chemicals to meet sanitation standards; ensure carts, linens, rooms, work areas, and equipment are clean, stocked, and in working order.
• Guest Service: Ensure guest satisfaction with housekeeping; respond to guest requests promptly and courteously; work collaboratively with other departments; follow the Holiday Inn guest service recovery program.
• Safety/Risk Management: Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with Holiday Inn brand, local, state, and federal regulations; inspect work area and equipment for maintenance needs and report issues; use chemicals safely; follow Holiday Inn procedures for guest and team‑member incidents; be knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures.
• Self Management: Plan, organize, and prioritize work to meet required volume; adhere to attendance, grooming, appearance standards, and department policies; attend required department and hotel meetings; use equipment and supplies properly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to perform duties in a repetitive, fast‑paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds consistently; significant bending required.

Pay

The base pay offered is determined by variables such as the applicant’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, education level, and any certifications or professional licenses. Base pay is one component of B. F. Saul Company & Affiliates’ total compensation package, which also includes eligibility for the benefits listed above.
