FT - Lateral Firefighter/AEMT/Paramedic
About the role
The role involves providing emergency medical services in response to fire and rescue incidents. This includes assessing injuries, administering first aid, and coordinating with other emergency services.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate medical care to victims at the scene of an incident.
- Assess injuries and administer first aid as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with other emergency services personnel.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Current certification as a Firefighter/AEMT/Paramedic.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Medical Services or related field.
- Previous experience in emergency medical services.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Skills
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of emergency medical procedures.
- Proficient in using emergency medical equipment.
