Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment where customers feel inspired to explore their musical passions and help them find the perfect gear to bring their sound to life.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets with flair! Upsell and cross-sell like a pro by connecting customers with the perfect instruments and accessories to complete their musical setup.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of our gear, from the latest guitars to cutting-edge recording equipment, and help enhance the knowledge of others.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, growing your fanbase and helping fellow Associates foster them to make your team the go-to in the local music community.
• Keep the store looking as cool as your favorite album cover by organizing displays, restocking shelves, and maintaining that music store vibe.
• Practice your leadership abilities by guiding and mentoring your fellow team members, supporting them through customer interactions and operational tasks.
• As a keyholding member of the store, open and close the store as needed.

Requirements

• Passion for Music: You're a music enthusiast with a solid understanding of various instruments and products.
• Proven track record in sales, with a history of exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as smooth as a guitar solo.
• Retail Resilience: Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment with top-notch organizational skills.
• Ability to influence and inspire others to achieve their best.
• Flexibility to work additional hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
