FT Faculty- Nursing

Responsibilities

• Teach 10-12 courses (30-36 credits per year)
• Advance student learning through dedicated, exemplary instruction
• Design courses, deliver instruction, evaluate student learning, and incorporate university-required technology
• Implement a variety of teaching strategies appropriate to learner needs, desired learner outcomes, content, and context
• Absent from “office hours” and at other times to answer questions and assist students to better understand the material in one-on-one or small group sessions
• Lead and/or coordinate the development and/or revision of courses
• Review courses on an ongoing basis using course data to improve student learning and success outcomes
• Participate in program improvement initiatives
• Participate in program and university accreditation, curriculum development, and program assessment
• Serve on taskforces and/or committees

Qualifications

• Terminal degree (DNP, PhD, or EdD) required
• Experience teaching a range of undergraduate and graduate courses and other courses as assigned and in alignment with academic qualifications
• Experience teaching across multiple modalities and leveraging the strengths of each to inform instructional practice
• A commitment to interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration and a successful track record of working across disciplines to support the development of program pathways from associate to doctoral degrees

Pay

Hiring salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $90,000.00.
